Ah right, cheers, i took edge bending to mean bending against something! But it was flat bending i had in my head. Yeah i definitely think i'm not gonna go with a rim. Might sketch up designs when they get the glass priced up.

Yep. windows in old houses are noticably thicker lower down, as the glass flows down over time.

But for a table that is supported reasonable well, a bit of future time travel might be needed to measure it.
