no need to worry the tyres i have for this are solid and rather beefy as well so nothing to go horribly wrong there (hopefully) 
I bought a wheelchair last week for £2, mainly for the wheels. It has 12" solid rubber back wheels with brakes and good sturdy castors on the front, I think I'll use them instead.
A few years ago I was welding the boot floor in a 205 when there was an almighty BANG. It scared the life out of me, I thought a gas cylinder had exploded.
It was actually the radiated heat from the weld that had melted the tyre and it exploded - silly me forgot to take off the wheel.
