I do have a ER20 collet chuck ordered, so I might have a go at some very very light milling (because I am interested) but I am not expecting much to be honest. Although it doesn't seem a bad drilling machine, it is far from being as robust as the old British stuff.
Before I get slated, I know its not ideal and it's not built for milling blah blah, but I do like to explore limitations
My drill is the Titan 700W version, largest one. I was very surprised that although with the weight of the compound table, when tightened up it clocked up spot on the Y axis, no shimming required. The X tilt is adjustable so was adjusted to suit. You do see a little flexing when ramming an 11mm drill bit through stainless though, which can be expected. There are a lot of good points on it, but also has some cheapnese bits too. A lot more robust that your standard Clarke/Sealey 350W versions.
Overall I'm pleased with what I have acheived with it so far (been making jigs'n'stuff today). It could be better, but could be far worse. Still give me a solid old lump anytime though.
