ive had to keep out of me garage as much as possible. theres 2 robins nests on the shelves somewhere amongst the stuff dunno where though just hear them squeaking

I used hand tools all day after I first spotted the nest but I didn't see the mother again.

I'm guessing it's not a good idea to clout against a nest with the end of a ladder. Some consolation is that the chicks won't have to take their first foray into the wild by jumping onto the scrap pile, dodging all the local cats and hiding in the bushes which are chock full of foxes. My "garden" is unusual in that I only use it to grow sheds. The rest is basically jungle...

London Wildlife Protection texted me to say all the chicks were successfully rehabilitated. I feel good about that. Nature is a cruel mistress, at least I didn't make it any worse...

I have about half a mile of alkathane that runs across the Moor to my house as our only supply of water .

The std grey stuff isn't really what you need. Proper alkathane and remember to use liners and learn proper tightening procedures.

Its a big stress at times for us especially now the government are meddling at the beck and call of the big water corporations. My water rights have exited here for nearly 100 years and thier corporations where not even thought of let alone funded back then !

Yeah, I have learnt a few skills with such pipe and fault finding
