We just lost our little fella last week...had him 10 years...he was a rescue cat, we think he was maybe 18 or 19.

He was a right grumpy sod...missing him a lot already!

There's a couple of Bengal cats round here, one lives indoors and has a collar and lead to go outside and the other is a bloody nightmare trying to infiltrate the house to get food all the time!

Jasper has totally ignored the Christmas tree even when the two sets of flashing lights are on .. Could it be something to do with me catching him about to jump up to something interesting on it immediately he'd come indoors and gave him a gentle back hander before dropping him on the floor and shouting " No " at him ?
He got almost half of the cooked cold turkey giblets, liver , heart some lung and crop with some a bit of neck flesh, all chopped fine with some unsalted gravy drizzled over it at 09.30 this morning ,
He hasn't stirred off his bed since , he just rolls over and purrs a bit before going back to being " catamose ".

New suite arrived just before Christmas, for the 'lovely room' as my wife calls it, I'm barely allowed in it. No1 rule, no cats allowed. Yeah right!

SWMBO ill, kids doing their own thing I thought I'd creep off to bed with a good book (Simon Kernick, The Hanged Man).

Had a shower and slid between the cool sheets. Slowly aware of a wet patch...

The cat had been sick on the duvet. It's gone right through the duvet, top sheet and into the memory foam. Slap bang dead centre of the super king size bed. The weird thing was there was no vomit. Horrible little git has eaten it I thought. Except...when I got in I'd thrown the quilt back...it's now her side of the duvet.

I've now changed the sheets, Dettox'd everything and dried off as best as with her hairdryer.
