CATS!!!!

Last night when enjoying a cold beer, relaxing in the garden I was watching a Robin collecting nesting materials. A pleasant sight.

Cat decided to join me on the bench. Mainly due to the fact the house was being hovered and I had cat treats.

As we both sat on the bench the robin was getting brave, close and vocal. Then the robin hoped onto the bench and started collecting the fur from Cat were we had combed.
Then The robin would hop to Cat and gently as you like would pull loose hair, in the end Cat rolled onto her side and the Robin was taking fur from Cat belly.

After nearly an hour and countless visits, the robin departed.

And I think that's the last pic of her as she some how came to end yesterday who knows how possible some thing to do with a tractor and machine at work but we will never now the correct reason RIP Cleo your manorisums and company will be dearly missed

Woke around 07:00 last Saturday to an unusual noisy motorcycle cruising up & down the road that stopped outside idling. Missus looked out and a kitten came up the path like a bat out of hell and disappeared under the cars, bike left. 13:00 I’m in the garage and turned the radio down as I could hear a distressed cat, found this wee one stuck down between my garage and next doors.

Asked about and nobody has lost one, next door but one has a slightly darker matching pair living in their garden trying to get in their house for food much to the disgust of their cat! Not found any others but think the biker dumped them, perhaps as they are of an age where jabs are needed. Lovely kitten, and litter tray trained too!

18 years apart, old one is too hot and bothered for hissing!

I had to pick up a dead cat this morning
It had just been hit by a car that drove off.
A woman was trying to pick him up but it was a bit of a mess I had a big plastic sack to put him in.
The really weird thing was that just as I stopped the Verve were on the radio with that song about a cat in a plastic bag!

This one turned up in July, Mrs saw her running scared through the front garden about 07:00 one Saturday morning when she looked out to see who was on a motorcycle out the front. Didn’t think anything more about it until lunchtime when I heard a kitten crying in distress, she was stuck down the gap between the garages. Managed to get her out and started asking about to see who she belonged to and found two others turned up at the same time in a neighbours garden. We think the person on the motorcycle dumped them. They were about 6 weeks old and well looked after, very friendly and litter trained too.
