I got a "bit of thing" about stray feral cats into my yard.
They come and go - when I go to Lidls at the top of the estate and get food for my lunch - I buy cat food as well!
At the moment there is a timid black young kitten - that comes for food you put in a bowl - but you gotta be at least 30m away before he/she will come out of the hedge to eat it. Been feeding this one dry food - as the seagulls get to the wet food in the bowl before the kitten can get to it.

Ginger cat who had cat flu - is over it - I am seeing him less and less - he is a bold vocal cat - "meows" for food - he will find a home - he purrs - rubs himself about you legs... He an outgoing ginger cat - he will endeer himself to someone and have a warm sofa or bed for winter!

We had to give our Sausage back to my son a few weeks ago, He was his cat but when they sold their house the one they were buying fell through so they went to live with his inlaws, It's a very busy road so he came to stay with us for about a year, They bought a new house and he wanted his cat back, We really thought they wouldn't want him back but he's with them now, Have to say I miss him getting on my knees all the time and sharing my friday Haddock with him!!

The she cat I had as a kid, before I was born had fallen asleep under a car wheel just like that. Had its pelvis broken when the car moved off. This was nearly 60 years ago so amazing she lived tbh and then went onto have kittens. Lived to a decent age too.
