I’ve got a 77 Bultaco, being left-handed / footed it suits me fine, my Ossa is a left kicker too, KTM just has a button

thought the motors were suzuki

The 644 and R30 have the suzuki engine from the Freewind, I have no idea what that one is though. I have a 644 DS, which is a nice bike but does feel like it's made up of bits from various different bikes at times.
I think there was a 400 that has the DRZ400 engine too

Get a run on one first , I found the whole super moto thing a bit of a let down , I had a KTM 640 and sold it in about a month and went back to Ducati , I bought it on a whim as gig transport and just didnt get on with the big single thing , would have shaken the fillings out of your teeth , and wouldnt have pulled a soldier of yer sister .
Six teeth up on the back , and one down on the front and it still wasnt very exciting ,, may suit some but get a go on one before spending.

I bought a KTM Duke 690 R a couple of years ago and I love it. I can only assume there was something wrong with yours, as mine goes like stink. Dynoed at 73 rwhp pushing 150kg - what's not to like?

Thats a very pretty bike .

My lc4 , it was about 50hp on a good day only rated as 54 new ,, probably ok if your used to mopeds or something , but after big v twins I found it a total let down ,,, so I went back to v twins , just 180 degree ones lol.

I'm also a V-twin fan - I have an Aprilia Falco and a Ducati 888 SP3 and the Duke has a very similar power delivery (just a bit less output). I've also got an old VFR750 (a 1988 FJ model) and the Duke is every bit as fast as that up to about 100mph (which is about as fast as you want to go on a naked bike).

Yep,,, Ive a GS 1200 and a R1200S at the moment , Ive owned a lot of Ducatis ranging from flat sided 600s through 900sl , 748 , 916 1024 and a 1098 , but the best fun was an old 748 with a Ferracci big bore kit and arrows , badged as a Cagiva Mito 125 ,,, with a heli bar riser kit on it you could ride a tank full in reasonable comfort ,, always fancied an RC8 but could never quite come to parting with the cash ,,, now if I fell in with a Benelli Tornado I may sway away from twins ,, actually i would just have to move stuff about in the garage and make space for another ,, but from that line up you can see why I was underwhelmed with 50hp.

ive a CCM gp450 adventure on a 17 plate,its fitted with a bmw engine which is the same one they used on the husky 449

, the frame is 6082 forged aluminium and a bolt together affair with no welds and was designed by ccm in house, all in not a bad bike and good fun to ride.

I'd love an RC8(R) but it would be more than my life's worth. The other half really resents the 888 SP3 as it's a single seater so she can't go on the back. The Benelli Tre sounds awesome - a mate has one. One of the reasons I bought the Duke 690 was so I could get my biking kicks at lower speeds, but it's just a hooligan machne. The horns sprout every time I throw a leg over it.
