I'd convert it to a euro torch. Looks to be easy enough. the trigger wires are there, so that would be straigh forward. the power lead would attach to the connector and then be routed out the front of the box to the terminals. It even looks like it has an internal gas solenoid too. The Wiring diagram is here

so you will need to mount the euro connector on the box. the neck will need to just reah the rollers, not too bigger gap.
connect the gas tube to the connector.
connect he trigger wires to the connector.
connect the power cable to the connector and route it to the terminals.

that should keep you occupied for an afternoon

will be having a look at the weekend, may take axtra photos and strip back some wiring, cleaned contacts again today as i needed to use it, managed ok but needs new life breathing into it

If the Pocket Turbo is anything to go bu the brass block design is rubbich, especially if the plastig to comes off. This was a cource of gass leaks and intermittent triggering, hence the euro conversion on my welder.

I have the 130 turbo, i bought a torch from ebay for 25 quid it works great

Its a 2 wire switch but its super east to wire up

just purchased one for the same price, it will be just a matter of directing the live to the front of the welder and hopefully all should be good

I put one wire to the original position and tge other with the larger cable works fine

got the new torch today, it lives again, welds nice again

stripped my live wire from the old setup and fed it through the new one, as you can see i needed the clamp and it was easier to do it that way

and these torches have the twin contact micro switch in instead of the brass contacts, much better
