No2 compressor doesn't want to play either - been switched on for over an hour and just gets hot.
No3 starts up straight away. Slightly different compressor, the sightglass doesn't line up with the hole in the side of case! This one has got metric unions, the others BSP so I'll have to swap bits over to make it compatible with all my other gear.
The instructions say 50% duty cycle, 15 mins on, 15 off. This fits in well with a 24 hour segment timer. My other fridge motors run continuously from about 6 in the morning to 5 at night, 11 hours! I have fitted coolong fans though.
Had a tweak with that red one, the safety valve and switch are both set to 8 bar, so it's a bit hit and miss as to whether it switches off before the safety valve opens.
