Unfortunately it's a little too heavy for my forklift which means that after I get a neighbor to offload it I can only move it around with a pallet truck and jacks.
You'll be better off with some inch diameter stock and barring/pushing it around, depending on your units floor surface, certainly safer than on a pallet truck.
Is your dividing head the 10" version?
If it's there friday I could sit on the back of your fork lift as a counter balance..Unfortunately it's a little too heavy for my forklift which means that after I get a neighbor to offload it I can only move it around with a pallet truck and jacks.
I don't know on the dividing head at the moment, it was put in the shed and I haven't touched it since. Once the mill is setup here then I will start to bring a lot of that stuff down.
OK, I have been making the missing direct indexing plate for mine, in fact I've made a sort of prototype and an almost finished item.
You can have the prototype one if it would be of any use to you.
I didn't realise the use for the notches on the edge of the hole plate for example.
Here you go, I also have the sales brochure too

trouble is with the horizontal using the vertical head it limits the height and also u haven't a fine adjustment quill and have to crank the large table up and speed is limited same as my bridgie
Aah yes, a common misconception. In fairness a horizontal/vertical mill is more universally useful (for our purposes) than a horizontal with a swivelling table but that is the official distinction.
Looking through that manual gives me the shivers - that thing is VERRRRRY complicated inside.
Do t tell me that.... Today of all days.Yes, having a quill is very useful, I miss not having one
