Hy guys, i have another Q for you! If i don.t use the compressor for a couple of months do i have to keep the water drainage open/close? Is better to leave the tank under pressure? Thank you
I keep mine under pressure, but switched off. This allows me to pump up tyres etc from the air in the tank. I don't know whether this is standard practice, but it seems to work for me, my compressor is about 18 years old & I've not had a problem.
Just a cheapo one from World of Power I think it was, don't think they exist any more. I don't think there are any specific things you can do to keep it alive, they're a pretty robust bit of kit, most go on for years.
Yes i.m a bit surprised because i.ve seen like 5 compressors berore buying this one and they were at the end of the life...... and they weren.t older then 10 years.....

They were made in italy, most of them. I saw an atlas copco that was looking briliant but too expensive........anyway the best deal i made with the one i.ve buy....paid just £20 with the pulley/ fan broken.....seems to be a problem with the pulleys for clarke!!! :-)
