Where can you buy these convoluted hoses from tigler ?

I want them for their length, whip hoses seem to be quite short and hard to find some that are 1/2 inch etc.

They wouldn't be suitable for use as whip hoses. They would have to be ordered from an Industrial Hose Specialist, made to order. Although the hose itself is kept in bulk lengths the fittings are special and welded into the hose.

You might struggle to find steel pipe that's small enough as it probity starts at 1 1/2 bsp.

You can get smaller, I was using some today with an ID of about 15mm whatever that is in imperials BSP?

steel pipe readily available in all sizes from 1/4bsp up to virtualy any size . just sit down when u get the price or u will fall down

Never have to buy any, we've got tons of assorted sizes out back of the workshop!

I have just layed the main water pipe into my house, 25mm blue plastic,

Its cuts like butter (once its gets going)
I would not personly use it,
having had it in my hands, I would say it is to soft.

The air line hard plastic used in modern workshops would have a lot less expansion that the water type hose.

Think energy loss, brake hoses etc etc
I have a large air compressor, its now conected to steel,

I dont need a whip hose so to speak just a 1/2 long hose from compressor to the wall where the pipes will start from, whip hoses for this job seem to be the only thing i could find till i realised where i can get the others.

A stainless steel flexible would be unecessary for that. You just need some 1/2" bore rubber air hose with the fittings clipped in. The stainless hose is only needed where the working temperature exceeds 200 deg C for protracted periods.
