compressor

Hi i've just brought a ALPHA-TECHNIK DUOMAT compressor but its from germany and need the instruction manual in english anyone HELP ME PLEASE.....If more info is needed please let me know....I can say this its a twin tank compressor looks very pro model......one tank says 60 litres and the other is 30 litres.......

I need to know how to set it up so i can use it in my workshop for car body repairs i dont want to use it until i know its set right as compressed air can be dangerious....Someone told me that compressed air can kill if it gets in ure blood stream like in a cut or if it gets in contact with the skin.....so if i set it up right then theres no danger....

Thats only if your daft enough to stick an air blow gun right against your skin and press the trigger, that can cause air to be forced into the blood stream and cause an embolism which can stop you heart .
If compressed air is only used as intended with tools designed for it you are in no danger.

Can't see a pressure switch, so it may be a continuous run type with an idle unloader valve.

Hi Mef, I agree that used incorrectly compressed air can be dangerous but unless you do something stupid like trying to inflate yourself with an air gun, I shouldn't worry too much about it.

As to the manual can you find a german version of it online and use google translate so you can read it.

Hi i've translated the writing on it now and i've got this
1 Tank pressure(top gauge)
2 Pressure reducer(adjustable knob)
3 Turbo tap(from one tank to the other)
4 Working pressure(gauge)
5 Air removal working pressure(out lets)
6 Double filtered air(out let)left on pic
7 Filtered and lubricated air (out let)right on pic

yes it does have a pressure switch on it....

top gauge is tank pressure bottom gauge working pressure round red knob pressure regulator and its not rocket science to work out the rest

Handy looking unit, feed your spraygun from 6 and your air tools from 7, whats the hp/Kw rating of the electric motor.
