Repaired a crack on a head where drilled and tapped holes and small socket bolts were used to close the crack. The owner then had the head vacuum resin impregnated by a firm near Reading. Can't remember the name but were connected to Pershore Engineering? Owner said the repair was successful
try to close the crack up, by bolting it. so getting the head back into shape.
open the crack up with grinder so theres enogh room for a decent weld, put the head in the oven and take it to about 50 C and start filling with nickel rods, the weld would have to be done a littel at a time over a few days.
then as said drill and sleeve the push rod guides, then it just cleaning up the chambers wit a die ad haveing ethe head skimmed
