cracked ford transit frame

Hi. Can i use a DC01 or s355 steel for repair cracked Ford Transit frame?

I want to bend 2 angle and weld it to frame

Clean the crack up and weld but first; as said chassis is mild steel and it should be fully welded or may fail a future mot as chassis has to be fully welded

Those are becoming like rocking horse poo jack look after it,is it a tipper?
Run of the mill mild steel will do you,just put a good protective finish inside and out afterwards

The holes are probably for plugs welds.

Yes it's a tipper with cheap china crane, but its makes a job

but what kind of paint use before welding angle to old frame ?, hi temp paint or normal anti rust primer?

after seeing what you are lifting with it I guess its breaking the chassis just at the rear of the cab
