cutting angles on pipe/tube

Its really not that difficult to manually draw the development of a 45deg cut on pipe, I'm sure I've covered it before, however you can use a program called cone to draw a pipe wrap just enter the Dia 1 and dia 2 into the boxes as shown and set angle 1 at 45deg and it will draw it for you. you can then directly print it out or import it into a cad program,

You can usually get flexi sections for a flue, why mess about cutting and welding when there is no real hard need?

Because its good to practice doing things manually. Plus, if the OP is anything like myself, they will loath spending money on something that can be made at home..

Just divi it out with a sharpie and ruler.

I cut some 60mm tube recently to make a lobster back bend by scribing a line down each side of the tube and marking the same height on a piece of angle then rotating the tube 180° in the bandsaw then resetting the height with the mark on the angle. The scribe lines then allow you to align each piece and create a neat bend.
