Too close to the edge of the tile, to cut with a scribed cutter as mentioned above.
Wet diamond cut, is the only way to go.

I did some for niece and they were thick tiles, I cut them all the way through with a stone cutting disc in the 125mm angle grinder

Continuous rim disc in a mini grinder will cut it with a spry of water. If the disc gets blunt and starts to hamer just flip it around and go again.

You might get away with a segmented disc but you'll have to do a trial cut to find that out.

Segmented tends to be very chippy on the glaze, continuous disc only IMO

Aye. Some tiles even wet I've had to trim in 10 mm one side then flip and cut back to it

These are cement based. Top 6mm coloured.

Cutting on the diagonal was a nightmare for breakout at the end of cuts Thankfully the customer listened and let me put the border in.

I have a proper motorised cutter but they are just so messy and I prefer not to if there is an alterative.

Tbh you have the answer right there. Wouldn't bother with score and break for anything beyond the thinnest glazed ceramic. For thick tiles, handmade tiles, fancy glazes and for awkward shapes and corners a proper wet diamond disc motorised cutter wins hands down.
