LBC over here, but Im begining to get annoyed with Sheila Foggarty
Have you ever been to see a band..?Ok so I’m weird. I have no music. Just don’t ‘get’ it. Don’t even own a single cd!!! I listen to Radio 4 mainly. Apart from a bit of radio 2 here and there except when that **** vine is on!
No difference to a deaf person, you don't know who can hear and who can't as you approach them, upto both parties to be carefulMusic in ear defenders is a no-no for me. Like cyclists, runners, walkers who insist on wearing headphones, and don't hear you coming!!
My sister is deaf, unless she can see you she is oblivious to you being thereAt least with a deaf person, their other senses tend to be heightened. In a hearing person, becoming immersed in music tends to lead to an anaesthesia to the world around them.
