I used a Danish Oil from screwfix on some wood I had stripped back recently. It came out pretty good I think.

Given the popularity of ths blow torch nonsense i wouldnt be suprised if it was
^^^. I would have staggered those board joints.
I used Liberon floor wax on this, about 8 coats, I get a bit obsessive about the finish on wood
