Yes you're right Cobbler..... but if you don't wear it and it stops you have to set the day, date, and time ... I won't wear this new one very often as my normal 'smart watch' counts my steps - which I like!! I'll just set the auto winder to come on for an hour or so each day ...and they are expensive to buy so I'm making my own!!

On my Seiko 5 and Christopher Ward automatic watches, pull the crown out all the way to move the hands, pull the crown out half way and one direction moves the day, the other direction the date.
