Die grinder - worth trying shorter hose?

I just bought one of these to go on the end of a 15mm bore hose I use https://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-...VmpntCh399QolEAQYAyABEgJ_8fD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds its half decent I just cut the ends of and fit pcl fittings on with jubilee clips

I bought this and forgot about it. Should I cut the 1/4" bsp fittings off and put bigger ones on?

The end-cap plugs are often 3/4 BSP tapered, but can also be M20 or M22 straight, with an O-ring or a flat rubber sealing washer.
