I cant decide. Both hues look like sunbleached turd.

How about a nice green?

Really struggled in colour choice. The seats and door panels are a bright burgandy, dash is beige, and the steering wheel and gearknob are made from the orange transparent stuff they use as rims for sunglasses. Only grey, silver or white would really work.

Bought half a litre of the closest original colour and sprayed it on an old wing to see that it would look like. Think it's growing on me now.

Shhhsh - nobody will notice the dent or the rusty bits in the eBay photos.

I chose that colour in the end, and I like it. First coat went on nicely but I'm putting off a quick sand before the final coat as sanding is really boring.

I'm in the middle of writing one as it happens. Thought I'd take the opportunity of all the photos. If anyone is just about to paint send me a PM and I'll send a link to an unfinished version - you could tell me if it's any use or point out what I've left out. Anyone who paints for a living who wants a look could tell me if it is complete nonesense.

the nicest shade of beige ive seen is a VW savannah beige used on 68- type 2s, not to grey or not too yellow
