DIY pressure pot from scratch?

Ill look up the cost of pop up valves.

What was the issue with your setup / my proposed setup?

The valve was a bit restricting, though not as bad as the funnel supplied with the pot, and it eventually needed replacing. I didn't have to modify the pot though.

If you're starting from scratch go with a big hole like BS says, but bear in mind the larger the filler cap the more force there is trying to push it off.

Ive been trying to find the meetering valves. I think that the part i want is the top left of this photo -

Seems the new stock had not been listed on the website, and its been updated now.

they don't block up like a ball valve and meter a lot better any irregular media just falls to one side of the outlet and just sits there . these are a copy of the hodge clemco mini pot design and used over 40 years ago
