Do I need my AC buzzbox?

Buzz box...it costs nothing to feed so why give it away put it under the bench as one day you may need the little Mr reliable.

Send it off to TFSR... A clean, uncluttered workshop is a good workshop (says I, who can barely move for stuff haha)

problem is after a short while there will be that much stuff under the bench the bench will be wedged against the roof

I've got my late dad's old buzzbox, just kept it for sentimental reasons really. I've ended up using it on a variety of outside jobs, mainly broken horse yard items. I'm amazed how good some of the welds have been, it sticks things together well and although i wouldn't win any awards for the weld presentation they are not bad. Like Roofman said, it doesn't cost anything to keep it and it doesn't take up much room, I probably only use mine a few times a year, but I wouldn't be without it.

Yes it could make a big difference to some one's life having the ability to weld and earn money, what to us is a machine worth less than a night out on the town, could be the difference between eating or not in certain countries.

Well done for sending it, I would have done the same at the time was I aware of the charity and this week am putting some old but still useable woodwork tools together for them.
