Double sided tape.

My wife has been trying to get me to put up a wreath on the front door.
I keep telling her that bluetack with just fall off.
3 times I stuck it on the door today and 3 times it's fallen off.
I am thinking about trying some double sided tape but I know it varies a great deal.

So are there any recommendations?

What's the door made of? Or more specifically the finish. Some d/s sticky tape will pull paint off the surface

Was just about to say, whatever you use make sure it says 3M on the packet or you’re probably wasting your time. Wipe down with alcohol before sticking on.

Or fit one of these and leave it year round, doesn’t really look out of place as it’s small and you can hang it with wire.

I thought it would go this way. Anything not 3M no good. But 3M is 2 quid per hook.

If I can find the name of those screws with little bollards attached I will go that route I think. Lol

I put a screw in the head of our door (which is currently a white plastic job) and just screwed it in till it didn't jam and wreath gets hung from there on a ribbon I think. Hopefully the screws still there as the wreath will no doubt be appearing again soon for me to deal with.

As above (small screw in the top of the door) or a paperclip bent to hook over the top of the door then hang a ribbon or length of fishing line from that ...

We use a hook like this to hang the xmas wreath on our UPVC front door.
