its not all travelers theres plenty of scrap merchant scrotes thieving

even ive had it at another address

however ive got everything all on cctv

the driver is clearly seen in the video in the vehicle, it even has the reg plate of the vehicle

the 2 guys getting out of said vehicle and searching within the long garden then taking wheelie bins that havent been touched in years

then struggerling to tip them onto the back of the vehicle with alot of grunts and moans about there weight while they tipped them out then bringing them back and installing them back into place

and then setting off

well the police dont want to know
they dont want to take there vehicle in proceeds of the crime either ( even though they can remove there vehicle from them due to the crime )

ive found the vehicle and revenge is rather sweet

i even know who it is

as goes for the police well all i got is a crime number and just report it to your insurance to claim it back
seriously wtf
just remove there vehicle from them and sell it if they havent got a vehicle they cant do the crime
whilst also fining them and then pay back what they have taken

i kinda tore them a new one at high speed the poor survey people had no idea what they was dealing with that interview

will the info get ignored of coarse it will as its designed for corporate not for the people

Looking to upgrade my drive alarm. Found this, made in South Africa. Now I want a multi zone gate alarm like this but don't want to pay that much money!

I'm half thinking an electronic voice recorder module like this as a basis maybe, it'd then need to be triggered by individual, remote PIRs:

Brilliant idea.

My driveway alarm receiver unit will receive multiple channels to play different tunes but only has one set of volt free contacts that could be used to operate your circuit board.

I guess the simplest solution is to have multiple receiver units outputting to the voice recorder board, if the board is able to receive multiple channels.

Don’t think we haven’t noticed that you’ve sneaked in another project to never complete.

Alexa cameras. My father and his 'friend' both have Ring doorbells which do exactly that. BONG! "Movement detected at front door"...

We have the Ring doorbell things and the range is quite wide. They'll pick up people walking on the pavement past the end of the drive. I think the max they reach is 30 feet.

+1 for a ring doorbell. Very good detection if anyone walks or even drives in.

It would be possible to design something of course, but I think it would be uneconomic bearing in mind the superior option suggested. I have some 2.4GHz transceiver boards with six channels that would do the job, but they are £15 pair, plus the outdoor PIRs required and then something to interpret the six incoming channels.

Word spreads quickly among various communities. We were plagued by various Jehovahs Witnesses, travellers etc., when I was a kid. One day I'd just come back from a walk with the dog so wandered back into the farm yard with shotgun over my shoulder, the lab had half a squirrel in her mouth (the other half didn't exist) just as a people carrier in their Sunday best showed up. Dad came out of the workshop with his jumper on fire (he'd been cutting something with the grinder) and Mum emerged from the lambing barn covered head to toe in blood and mucus from a difficult lamb delivery. We never had a visit after that from any cold callers. No idea why

A friend in Chertsey was similarly plagued. One morning he was upstairs and heard a knock on the door, some more Jehovahs Witnesses. He said he'd be down in a minute, proceeded to strip off and then opened the door welcoming them in in nothing but his birthday suit. Bear in mind he's a physically rather large Italian chap, not someone you'd typically want to see starkers. Got them inside, made them all tea, biscuits and coffee and showed as much interest as possible in what they were nervously talking about. When they were finally able to make their excuses he never had a cold caller again at that house.
