A lot of people dont know how relaxed the law is regarding sub 250g drones, this is were the confusion and conflict starts. Drones over 250g are another ball game regarding where and who can fly them. This is the reason the sub 250g market is very popular and so expensive, my drone cost me just short of £1200 with all the add ons but its the current best 249g drone out there. Thanks for that. really useful info.
Hope the I.D. sticker isnt too heavy Mr Roof.best 249g drone out there.
Just funDepends on if you also want to licence it if it has a camera or just fun to play with like an rc plane

There's a difference between a dashcam recording on public roads and a drone camera focusing specifically on a private area such as a garden or looking inside a window.nope not breaking any laws at all, your saying that dash cams are breaching the data protection act then. There are a few places you cant fly over and prisons being one of them but regarding private or commercial property then its not illegal to fly over and or film it.
Just fun
It will probably be shout out of the no fly zone over the circuitNice one, good old Mr Roof.
can we get a live stream of the F1 next year please.
I’m in to this deeper than I expected, I’ve been advised that YT is my teacher, another new thing to meWell done @Parm I was about to express an interest as my kids have been bugging me to get them a drone.
My boys said they'd like a DJI neo which I like the look of as it has propellor guards so good for indoors (?) but it's certainly not cheap and looks to need a smartphone which they don't have. There appears to be an option that uses a more traditional controller.
Does anyone have experience of Eonvy drones? I read one online review (maybe biased!) and the price looks more reasonable at about £170 including extra batteries. Still not cheap though!
If I can jump on here with a question about DJI Mini 2
I have one, was my Fathers. He got it, hardly used it then popped his clogs.
I've had it sat for a year meaning to sell it, but I cannot find a user guide or manual for it. Which if there was one is odd cos Father was usually scrupulous about keeping stuff together.
Did they come with a physical manual or just links to something online as is the 'modern way'??
Last time I looked DJI had PDF manuals for all their products on their website. If I can jump on here with a question about DJI Mini 2
