You still have to think about range to be honest. I think there are really only two maybe three negative differences to think of with Ev‘s at the moment and none of those are insurmountable issues. For one I think having a granular 1% battery gauge is more stressful / distracting than the standard fuel gauge we are used to. Two is the terrible state of the charging infrastructure, when you get low with a ice car you know there will be a fuel station somewhere within 5/10 miles. Finding a charger is way worse, what kind of charger is it? Do I need an app? Will it actually work? Not to mention there are way less of them. And the third is where I personally don’t see an issue but it takes 20to 30 mins to get another 200miles as opposed to 3 to 5 mins to get another 400+miles with a ice.
I do think it will be stupid to start taxing the Evs already, it will really damage the Ev adoption. Usually the gov will atleast pretend they wound start robbing people until adoption is pretty high.
