When I did my ancient rusted solid mitre trimmer, I left it in in the electrolysis tank for days at low current.
Every bolt came out super easy. I "had" to do that because the machi e was so old, the fasteners were all hand made! I dared not destroy them off or it would have become the welding table I bought it for.
Nice idea but nope. Definitely one piece.Check to see if it’s a locking grub like on a Bridgeport. Insert a hex only a short way in and see if there is a a separate locking screw on top of the normal grub.
