Not had to deal with Error 6 before, not on a 230 anyway.

"balancing error in voltage recording " any idea what that means ? the symptoms were , no welding with AC it was arcing but not enough to get a pool going , dc was fine , i thought it was HF problem , could it be anything that I have done ?

Unless you've let it fill up with metal filings or let it get damp I'd say no not really.

no covered when not in use , it broke when i first had it , it was sent back to the manufacturer with a fault that no-one had seen before , i got another sent to me , same thing wouldnt weld AC ! but no error message !

Update :- I got my Tetrix back today , it has a new PCB fitted and all is well , lets hope it stays that way !

You wont believe this , I certainly dont , been using the machine on and off on DC for the last two weeks , first try at Aluminium and the machine packed up again !
I'm totally miffed , once again I cant do the job for the customer , needed for wednesday , wont get the machine picked up and replaced that quick! Im gonna have a strong word with my supplier and see if I can get a replacement machine rather than a repaired heap again

Ummmm not good mate. You need a new unit by sound of it. That's the least they owe you.

It happens,theres always a machine or two thatll be trouble.it would make you seriously consider having a cheap wsm 2000 or whatever theyre called in reserve,so deadlines will get met.300 quid for a safety net

I'm far from an expert in these things but it sounds to me like they are fixing the problem but not the problem causing the problem if that makes any sense. 3 repairs under warranty is a bit coincidental for a machine of that level. I'd make it very loud and clear they need to start looking at replacing it as they've had there chance to repair it. Tell em it's costing you money and customers to be without it.

they delivered another machine for me to use while they check out mine , I said how many times do we have to go through this and they said they would sort it . So , I have no complaint with the service I get but I think a new machine is the order of the day with another 3 year warranty , hers hoping !
