not sure martin il have a look .. think hes selling quite a lot of things ..richard i bear that in mind thanks .
There is a stunning magicwave 2200 on there kitted out with pedal for 2k. Up to 6mm Alu 200-220 amps is plenty. Looks mint and I believe the owner is a member too. At half it's new price tag I know where my cash would be heading.
I recognised the photos and thought it was belonging to someone I spoke to before but the name and feed back is different so yes it's one to avoid. There is only one Fronius 2200 on ebay at the moment as you mentioned in your post this one...201721101598, the seller has no feedback it is a scam so pls don't anybody get sending any money for it.

One thing I have noticed with in minutes of striking up on a magic wave is just how powerful they are for the current you apply. I had it set at 120 amps on a lump of 3mm Alu and I had to stop and reduce to 100 which is something I've not had to do on other machines. Why I don't know but there is something about them that gives your current level on AC a good kick up the bum. I noticed it straight away.thanks richard.im seriously considering it.il keep you posted .. only concern is will it be big enough ? suppose i could keep the two big old sets for anything oversize ?
No it's something else mate. I've only ever used the highest quality welding sets and this is the first one that appears to feel more powerful. Might just be me but it was forcing me to reduce current on a condition I know works and have used many times over.probably quality will be a lot of it modern technology??
Spares are a nightmare. torch parts are fronius own stuff.
That's what it's called. Not if you carry out a Euro conversion.
