That's how I have it, wife pays for prime. Personally wouldn't bother. If I ever need anything really urgently I'll buy locally. Can wait for online purchases.

I had Prime due to a 99p for a week's 'trial' - during which week I ordered quite a few things at next day free delivery. Just cancelled wef tomorrow.....

Why cancel it? One of the only places you can order Sat and have it in your hands Sunday morning! I wish there was a good alternative for delivery, or even a local shop, but theres not!

Its a bit of an asre that you now have to spend £20 or pay extra for rhe fastest deliverys but I can usually manage £20.

The monthly fee averaged out has probably never been more than 50p per item for us.

I don't usually buy that buy from Amazon, and I don't waltto pay for streaming films/Netflix or whatever else is bundled with Prime. Streaming speeds here are rubbish with constant buffering etc.

And we're still not happy.

It's the default human condition....
