oh 20 pounds eachHa,I know that feeling, lol,so ball park price? BEFORE I show him, as I know what he will say, and he reckons I am tight, at a boot sale, brand new arc welder the guy said to him £20, What he exclaimed, the bloke said ok £17.50, alright then, several years down the road I had to fix it, switches etc cost £12, I spent probably an hour on it, cheers ,and he hands me a tenner!!!!so dont hold your breath waiting for a order from bil.
Put a few more pics up, do you do the damascus type ones as well?Arther
i bought a knife kit once about 4 years ago just for the laugh,i just threw it in the bin, maybe they've improved but i doubt it, i started with files and a vise, first knife i made was a lockback whittler, took me over a week but you really learn when you do everything yourself, there is a lot of info out there on knife making,i find its better than watching some one make something on tv, i dont have a tv anymore! get yourself some ground flat stock in 01 tool steel and have a bash, what harm can come of it?Yep I realise your knives are not kits. A kit would suit me just now, not a huge lay out and I would perhaps learn the basics before attempting to make one from scratch.
