here you are folks , I sprayed the metal with primer as i dindnt want bare metal showing for long .
I put a steel rule over the panel to see where the low bits were but this was difficult as the panel is curved .I then marked the outline of the low points with a blue marker so i knew where to fill .
applied filler in the required area
sanded across and up and down as the boot lid is curved and tried to keep the contours correct .
gave it another prime and then another rub down to show the low parts then another prime . I still dont think this is good enough but its hard to visualise from pictures .
