That's a fair comment - I wonder what the cumulative total of all the insurance claims for flood damage and associated loss comes to when compared to "Mark 5's" quoted estimate above?

Depends who you listen to, the original estimate was from JP Morgan but the devastation and loss now evident and continuing, I've heard on the news guesstimates of a $130 billion and imo it will keep rising some yet.

For UK recent and cumulative floods and loss £ 1.3 billion.
