First packages of my Centec haul arrived today

New drive belt arrived today, a fraction long. Will try it on the outside of the tensioner belt rather than inside before I order a shorter belt.

Just ordered an 830 long A belt rather than the 837 SPZ

Yes, that belt does look too small for those pulleys. They were an “A” size on mine when I had it. I also found I got far better results with the tensioner pressing on the back of the belt, rather than as you’ve got it. It always seemed to want to walk about and fold over when tensioning the inside, especially in one direction in particular. so I put the belt the other way and that yielded a much more stable belt

Aye I had the belt under the tensioner previously, will revert back when the new belt arrived.

The only risk in doing this is that at some point after the cast motor mount slots disappeared from the side of the pillar both lead screws were upgraded from 1/2" to 5/8"
