I know - drives the missus mad get an idea and then once I've got a bee in my bonnet there's no stopping me.

Had an alternative idea to build a compressed air spud gun, use a big copper pipe as a receiver with a quick connect fitting to connect to my air compressor, poppet valve as the trigger and 15 or 22 mm copper barrel.

Mums - law unto themselves! Mine always indulged my cars (meaning crap heaps!) when I lived at home
