I have looked into this one and it seems a common failing among people who work in 3D, it seems we can think the structure in our heads and just know what we are making...
Hi folks, first post so don't be too harsh with me. ( as if you would. All very nice people on this 'ere forum ). Anyhoo, I've made several model harleys that I'll have to find the pics of and post them. In the meantime here's a couple of animals that I've done. The jaguar was my first attempt at a life form so to speak. I cant draw worth a sh*t and its a lot easier, for me anyway, to work out mechanical shapes. I was pleased with how it turned out and was then asked to make the horse and plough. They both started as scaled up chalk outlines on the floor. Outline made up and propped up vertically at the correct height.Rod hand bent around mdf circles and basically made it up as I went along.
