Yes it was, it's been reliable so far. The pedal isn't fantastic quality, but it works...bit iffy having to set the amperage with a dial on the pedal itself, I find the slightest knock will dramatically alter the amperage you have set and if you don't notice it gets a bit tricky, especially when you are expecting 90 amps flat out but you actually get 200...but that's not a major problem. Stick function works fine, pulse works, ac frequency and balance all seem to work. It also has a 3 meter torch rather than the shorter torch of the other cheap units. I didn't like the torch that came with it, weird geometry but put a wp17f on straight away. Waiting for my new torch switches to arrive as almost everything in find myself doing at the moment is stood up and leaning at weird angles, but as for the welder it is miles better than the cheaper one I started with, and smaller and lighterWas it the hitbox/hzxvogen HVT250P that you bought? these are talking to me saying i must buy one
