Everything I've ever bought I was itching to get the covers off and see what was inside it. Some of it I hoped would never go wrong. It wouldn't do for us all to be the same but a picture or two of the fully clothed machine would be nice.
If you do get the cover off and if my current project works out - doesn't turn into an embarrassing failure with a few quid's worth of silicon going up in smoke, (in which case I'll fall discretely silent) -, I'll show you a real inverter striptease.

I do think it's policy to get the covers off inverters once a year or so, and blow away the dust and dirt.
I've always wondered about the cables, earth clamps and electrode holders they supply with these machines and thought it was an obvious place to cut corners.
