I need to use the phenomenal reach of this group!
I run a weekend for Clumber Spaniel owners every year (Clumberfest) and I have activities throughout the weekend. I have just come across (in the US) "drag racing" - it's not tying a dog to the back of a car at Santa-Pod, but a line that is pulled down a 100 yard course that the Clumber chases, fastet dog wins! They are available in the US (at a very high price) - here's a link to what can be bought https://www.swiftpaws.com
Now I reckon I can build something similar, but I have been googling for a while and can't find any flat plastic pulleys, I guess around 4"- 6" diameter.
I am sure you have better access to suppliers than I do - any thoughts? The motored part will be simple - just a 12v DC motor and remote speed control with a belt drive to a pulley with, say a rubber band, on the flat surface for friction.
So, where would you suggest I look for pulleys?
Cheers
Peter
