Flatting down before lacquer

All sorted guys. For what it's worth I just applied the decals [dry method] then dry lacquered a coat and built up from there. just today give the tank a couple of decent final coats and very happy with the outcome........apart from two or three b*****d fish eyes, see my other thread re. these.

Don't want to argue mate but Maxiclear doesn't need a thinner, I've been using it for the last 5-6 years, It says so on the spec sheet.
I've used it on printed decals many times and its fine but obviously don't put the first coat on wet.

dont think that will help printed decals.
and for the record,maxi clear does have a thinners.

Sorry to disagree but it doesn't need thinner, but you can add thinner to it.

as above does use thinners

Yes i know it lists a thinner but you don't have to use it is my point, I'm not here for an argument but i base my comments on having done it, here is the resulting gun finish without thinner.
