Yes i Works just like the Wired pedal , adjust the current at the machine and Full pedal gives Max set current

Pulser: Never Used one and have None for testing so Not sure about it , maybe Hugh can send me a schematic or say two sentences about how it exactly Works , how the pedal connector Is wired up..

It’s got to work through the remote though so I’m happy for you to borrow it for testing.
I would prefer the price first mind as like I said before I don’t want you putting lots of work into something that potentially might not fit my budget. I don’t like wasting people’s time.

I’ve opened that remote to attach a bracket to the back. The work and wiring inside is beautifully neat. After I tidied it up

One is missing the handle , both used, but I tested them ok.

The pcb is not the problem , but the software on the microcontroller

You should ask Markus to build you a wireless pedal system.
Trust me when I say his System is the best by a mile. If you’d like to see one in the flesh and working then you’d be very welcome to come and have a go with mine. It’s absolutely spot on. I’ve used literally hundreds of pedals and some are nice some not. Markus’s pedal is his own design and he’s built it with real thought and precision.
Going wireless is definitely the way forward. I’ve caused damage to way too many pedal cables trailing across my garage floor.

HI Markus, I may take a pedal (Fronius) - the cheapest of the two perhaps. PM a price please.

As for the home made, Circuit board, the SW / micro may not be too much of a problem, I have coded in C one time at work and I play with Arduinos and TI Launchpad sometimes. If you could give an outline of what is needed - I would enjoy the challenge of making one - who knows, I am aware its RS485, Im guessing it scales the Machine setting x1 to 100% something like that? Steve

They are an absolutely wonderful pedal. Couldn’t be without mine now.
Looks like you’ve changed the design slightly @. as there doesn’t seem to be a heal plate on those ones.
Any particular reason why mate.

Yes because i like my footcenter more Central to the axle and so i had it was always half on the heal stop , also it was difficult to make with tolerantes and powdercoating.

Inside also changed due to insane pot supplier issues..... but the mechanics Is in principle the same

They are extremely good Hugh. You never really think about how much you put up with and tolerate that cable until you take it away.

With the amount of marketing fronius are doing in the US at present, lots of people are asking for a wireless pedal for the older mw machines like they have on the new 230i... Plenty of business out there to be had.
