id guess its all the nasty stuff that makes the 2k good , maybe its for if you need a drop of touch up or blow in a door jamb etc

I suppose that the drying time is reason enough why it is not generally used, more chance of contamination by dust and too long a turn around for refinishers.
I have my inner wing and radiator shrouds to paint, I am tempted to be the forum Guinea Pig on this one.
I expect it would need to be applied in thin coats or it would form a cured skin whilst the inner paint is still soft.

The finish i am pleased with, although carefully fitting rubber plugs etc in the engine bay did end up chipping some of it round the edges. Although i didn't paint it wet on wet, primer first, dried then keyed up then used this paint.

I am talking about plugs that can only go into the hole from the inside, not outside in which im sure wont have chipped a bit of the paint.

EFA I doubt leaded paint is completely forgotten, the Chinese were painting kids toys with stuff a couple of years ago

From the Mipa product datasheet
Flash off time is 10 mins @ object temp of 20C, dust dry in 15 mins, touch dry in an hour. Comparable with Cellulose?
