Ha ha, me too, mainly 'cos the thick ones I wear in the workshop have all developed holes in the soles and I can't be ar5ed darning them.

I'm sure I remember a couple of weeks back you divulged a design for 'flexus' in the same sort of font as 'focus'. It looked pretty good!
maybe I did. I don’t tend to keep things secret lol.

When I was a kid my Dad put his spanner’s in the oven at gas reg 1 whilst doing the weekly tweaks on the Ford Popular. Kept his hands warm. Used to drive my Mum nuts but he seemed to get away with it.
If I was using spanners I would 100% do that lol
I put the calipers in there and she didn’t shout too much

This reminds me of a telephone call I had some years ago from a friend one Sunday morning. His name was Alex and he raced a Rover SD1 in what was then, I believe, the Slick 50 championship. He'd called me up to say he'd just picked up a dry sump system for the 4.6 V8 engine, but I couldn't work out why he was whispering down the phone line. He explained that the sump, along with some other bits were currently in his dishwasher and that his wife was still in bed. With that, I heard his wife in the distance shout, rather loudly ALEX!!!
He said, ooh, I've gotta go, and promptly hung up.
Apparently, she wasn't best pleased

I got my prop shaft shortened and balanced in Bristol following an engine change, many years ago.

No its just clickbait lol, car does look like its bleeding though!
I think convex is the right one, but at the time I couldn't for the life of me think of the right word lol
it wasn't even 16mm lol, it was 7 ish with the ST arches, the RS arches made it look much much worse though.
ill shorten the propshaft myself then take it to the local driveshaft place to get one the correct size made up, of have mine modified to be correct and balanced.
