I would say it's luck of the draw with fleet vehicles!

And anyone would say "it must be a good van as its an ex-RAC van" like they do with police vehicles thinking its spent all its life being pampered in the cute little police workshop...could,nt be further from the truth on both counts

I tend to think if expolis it will be full of interior holes and wrecked, the rozzers don't maintain way they used to.
RAC usually means swb with heavy axles, well maintained but most definitely a hard life

This is so true, the amount of service comments it had between new and 3 yes old along the lines of:

Coolant bottle empty
Brake lights not working
Brake pads worn to excess

It had a new front harmonic damper and a flywheel by its 3rd birthday. I must have been drawn to the orange-ness
