It did occur to me to let natural light in but the LED panels we put in are more than bright enough and later on i want that roof as a floor subject to getting planning permission for an apex roof on top.Did you think about putting a skylight of some sort up there, to increase natural light in the garage?
There is a 110mm outlet in the front corner that i fibre glassed in at the last moment before the grey finishing coat, It runs inside the building so if i ever get a sink inside it can maybe go in the corner into the same pipe, It may end up for now that we turn it into a grass roof from seeing other buildings with grass roofing it cuts down noise and adds to insulation.Looks a fab job but i am not feeling the glass and resin...Whats your provisions for water discharge? i might be having a blind moment but cant see any roof outlets or gutter drip edges
Adds a tremendous amount of weight too, espescially when wet. There is a 110mm outlet in the front corner that i fibre glassed in at the last moment before the grey finishing coat, It runs inside the building so if i ever get a sink inside it can maybe go in the corner into the same pipe, It may end up for now that we turn it into a grass roof from seeing other buildings with grass roofing it cuts down noise and adds to insulation.
I found a pic of the drain hole i put in...Looks a fab job but i am not feeling the glass and resin...Whats your provisions for water discharge? i might be having a blind moment but cant see any roof outlets or gutter drip edges
It is a great space i was lucky enough to find a house with space to expand, But now i have to get on with finishing the house so i have to share time between playing in the garage and serious DIY.Wish I had a garage that big! Looks a great working space

Yes the pad is so useful, I watched a guy jack his van up on block paving a few years ago and it made a nice mess, Eventually i will make a decent looking drive but they never seem practical. And with the concrete pad out front it's a really fab workshop space you've got.
