Made a little jig for in the vice and pressed them in.

And sorted the hinges out for the door. Didn't want hinges visable so I coppied this from my Boxford base cupboard.

Forgive the terrible welding, I forgot to turn the gas on and had to go over it again.

How did you manage to line those hinges up?

That's brilliant!!?? I might steel this idea for my own wedding next August. But doubt my fabrication abilities are good enough to match this!!

Hi, Mark2. Hinge plates made from 3mm steel, Bolt them together in the closed position, make sure that the door is lined up then just finally weld the hinge plates to the door and body, What I sometimes do is cut the bottle on the hinge side only, then weld on the hinges, Then cut the rest of the door out, Easy peasy.!!

I attached the inside hinge bracket top and bottom, drilled a hole in the face of the door roughly were the hinge needed to go, put the door side of the hinge in place held by a bit of string through the hole I had drilled, put the door on and tacked the hinge bar in place, removed the door and welded it all up. the bar allows for a bit of adjustment as you can bend it.
Was easier to do than explain.!!
