Made a little jig for in the vice and pressed them in.That is fantastic!
What did you use to produce the dimples in the peak? Assuming a forming tool and a sandbag?
It’s sitting in my garage at the moment unfortunately. It was well received at the wedding though, lots of nice comments.Hi Decca,
Now the wedding has passed, what did they end up doing with it?
How did you manage to line those hinges up?Yes that's my plan Gordon, blasted after all the welding is done.

And sorted the hinges out for the door. Didn't want hinges visable so I coppied this from my Boxford base cupboard.

Forgive the terrible welding, I forgot to turn the gas on and had to go over it again.
I attached the inside hinge bracket top and bottom, drilled a hole in the face of the door roughly were the hinge needed to go, put the door side of the hinge in place held by a bit of string through the hole I had drilled, put the door on and tacked the hinge bar in place, removed the door and welded it all up. the bar allows for a bit of adjustment as you can bend it.How did you manage to line those hinges up?
Nice job btw.
Ah! Got ya, thanks.I attached the inside hinge bracket top and bottom, drilled a hole in the face of the door roughly were the hinge needed to go, put the door side of the hinge in place held by a bit of string through the hole I had drilled, put the door on and tacked the hinge bar in place, removed the door and welded it all up. the bar allows for a bit of adjustment as you can bend it.
Was easier to do than explain.!!
