That's impressive! I will have to try to build a rocket stove next, if I ever finish this one!!ive dug this link out of my other pc for you
take a look at this video note the control set up as they light the stove
when primary air is heated it makes your stove even hotter than just direct air entering the stove from above or infront in your case
on rocket stoves certain models use primary air heating and then secondary air heating
lowering the flow makes it even hotter as the primary air has more time to heat up
note the orange colour within the flame the more orange to blue/purple the flame is the hotter the system is
dont build these stoves all steel rocket stoves burn themselves out in 2-6 months due to there internal heat inside the vortex
they need a core inside of them
Nicely done.Now painted. Give a a couple of small fires and then one big fire to cure. Really pleased with the result as I am no painter!
